ElectricSheep.IO 0.4.0 has been released!

The 0.4.0 version is available as Ubuntu and Debian packages. This version modifies the way the master starts and adds support for Docker. See the changelog for details.

Startup mode

By default, electric_sheep start does not puts the master process in the background anymore. It keeps it in the foreground and does not return the control to the terminal.

To start ElectricSheep.IO as a daemon, use the -d flag. See the Command Line Reference for startup options.

Sheep in Docker

We've pushed a Docker image with ElectricSheep.IO preinstalled on the Docker Hub, so that you may run your backup jobs in containers. See the Docker cookbook for more.
